Cpl. Sam Moscatelli’s family says, “Thank you, Dad and Grandpa!”
Moscatelli, originally from Virginia, participated in Operation Torch, when American and British forces invaded North Africa on Nov. 8, 1942. It was one of the first major campaigns of World War II.
