Here’s a picture of my Uncle Staff Sgt. Paul T. Mogush of Aurora. He was flying in a B-17 out of England on a bombing mission over Germany. There was no enemy flack, or any fighter planes. They started losing altitude over Germany and crashed into the Rhine River. No parachutes or remains were ever found.
