Flooded Woodland street


The intersection of Duluth’s Woodland Avenue and St. Marie Street is flooded on June 20. Pictures such as this gave the impression the whole city was affected, causing some tourists to cancel their plans to visit. A quickly planned marketing campaign resulted in a higher-than-usual number of visitors this summer, business and city leaders say. (File / News Tribune)
