Wolf hunt discussion

Howard Goldman (right), director of the Minnesota chapter of the Humane Society, speaks Friday night at the University of Minnesota Duluth during a panel discussing on the state wolf hunt scheduled to open Nov. 3. The panel included Mark Johnson, to Goldman’s right, of the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association, and Maureen Hackett, founder of Howling for Wolves, a group trying to delay the implementation of the hunt. The panel was sponsored by UMD’s Center for Ethics and Public Policy. (Photo by Mike Creger / mcreger@duluthnews.com)
