Brenda Haase, commander of the American Legion Post 71 in West Duluth, directs a convertible riding in the 2004 Spirit Valley Days parade while waiting to find out which convertible she will be riding in. The car show has been an official part of Spirit Valley Days since 1999, and an unofficial annual event for long before that.
