James Van Camp (left) of Duluth recently donated an oil painting to the Park Falls Public Library, which was accepted on behalf of the library by director Gary Olson. The painting is part of the library’s permanent collection on public display in the library board room. The painting is titled “A Song for Anna” and took nearly two years to complete.
Van Camp studied at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts and the Rocky Mountain School of Art in Denver. He has had several one-man shows and has oil portraits on permanent display at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. He has been painting for more than 57 years.
