Rotary Club No. 25 of Duluth is donating $100,000 to light Enger Observation Tower. The city hopes, furthermore, to undertake a $549,000 renovation of the 71-year-old tower. While Duluth has budgeted $100,000 of its own money for the fix-up, the project will rely heavily on donations of private money, supplies and labor. (Steve Kuchera / skuchera@duluthnews.com)
