Sound of Strings


The Sound of Strings Ensemble, under the direction of Michelle Gribbon, with students from Woodland Middle School, Marshall and East High School, performed two songs on the “Christmas on the Lake” CD, which is being sold to raise money for the Northland Foundation, a

charity for terminally ill children and their families. The holiday music CD donates all money raised from the sales of the CD to the Northland Foundation and is available for purchase at Pam’s Hallmark in the Miller Hill Mall and Duluth area Super One Grocery Stores.

The students in Sound of Strings are: Alia Gribbon, Joel Welinski, Joe Hodge, Brianna Krauss, Ben Johnson, Ben LaBerge, Natalie Hanson, along with Penny LaBerge and director Michelle Gribbon. The group also performed Dec. 5 at Greysolon Plaza for the BirthRight
