LSC students volunteer to help

Thirty-three Lake Superior College fire and rescue students left Duluth Wednesday to help in the Fargo-Moorhead flood zone. For most, it will be their first experience with a disaster relief effort. The students are volunteering use of their own cars, gas and time. “You can’t get this in the classroom or simulations,” said LSC instructor Lawrence Harvey.
