Curt Johnson of Grand Rapids had plenty to smile about early Saturday morning during Minnesota’s firearms deer opener. Moments earlier, he had shot a five-point buck, the first deer of the day for the Johnson deer camp near Warba. This is the camp’s 51st year in the same location.
