Northern Trends Building and Design donation to the Salvation Army Thrift Store

Dan Merrit, Loren Slette, David Nelson and Jamie Panger, owners of Northern Trends Building and Design in Duluth, presented Envoy Tonya Carlson, assistant northern Minnesota Range coordinator, and Kim Paulson, Salvation Army Thrift Store manager, with $1,050 in client donations after the company’s second annual Donation Drive on Oct. 1. Northern Trends owners drove to clients’ homes and picked up items to be donated to the thrift store, which helps families struggling to make ends meet find affordable ways to purchase basics such as clothing, household items and furniture.
