To the Hoff family and Chris, Liz, and Tim. I was sorry to read of John's death. John was a true renaissance man, tinkering with a snowmobile one minute, and than appearing in court as an expert witness on real estate matters the next. He always had a twinkle in his eye, and I enjoyed many great conversations with him. I also liked observing the friendship he and the late Bill Meierhoff had with each other. It was genuine and rare. Duluth and his family has lost another one of it's outstanding citizens and we will remember him fondly. Peter Koskinen

Sandy and Family, How very sad we were to hear of Johns Passing. I still remember when I met him years ago. He had just been renting his house to Sue ( a friend of mine) and then just taken a road trip on his bike. Many fun photos that he shared with Sue and I. Also I have grown to appreciate his SPOG mix, he even mixed it in a huge seasoning jar. As to which we still use in my kitchen. Makes me think of John and how he loved to cook. He had such a love for life and his kids and dogs. How very sad I am for you and the family. We can remember the good times that we had with him. Many Blessings to you and the family Sandy!
