We have always called her Grandma Joan; we would take her flowers every May Day. Her face was always had a welcoming glow, she was always genuinely happy to see you. She always showed up when we were selling cookies or popcorn at Market Place. In recent years I would just talk to her in the car. We will miss her dearly. But know she is in a better place. We love you!

Aunt Joan was a great lady, fun, straight forward, and always a joy to be around. I used to visit her and Uncle Earl regularly when I was a kid and they lived on Park Point. I always enjoyed meeting her for breakfast or lunch when I came to town and listened to her great stories. She will be greatly missed!
