To The Royer Family. May Lance Rest in Peace and in God's Grace. Lance was a good friend of our family especially my brother Jack in Duluth, Minnesota and Denfeld High School. I was much younger but always remember how nice Lance was to me and that was special. It has been so many years since I last even heard his name, but I truly remember him. Know that he was a good man. So sorry for your loss. Ron Bergquist Mission, Texas

To The Royer Family, I never met Lance, but I did know him--through the testimonials delivered by one of his early mentors: Waldemar V Johnson, his weight coach at Duluth Denfeld High School. Mr Johnson was not only one of the track coaches, he was a language teacher and it was during his instructional conversations in those classes that we learned of outstanding individuals like Lance Royer. I'm certain that Lance heard those same inspriational lessons from Mr. Johnson--and it is also obvious that he applied those lessons extremely well throughout his life. May the family be comforted by reflecting on his accomplishments and his favorable reputation. Mike Chase
