My deepest condolences to the entire Nettleton family. With loss there is an opportunity to celebrate the gifts that one man brought to this temporary thing we call life. Jim was always kind to me and treated me as his friend. We met when I was all of 12 years old and his "senior" status of three years made me feel a part of the "big boy" club. Jim was funny; sometimes sarcastic, but never mean. He introduced me to lot's of life lessons you learn as a kid. Jim was athletic as a kid; a good basketball player, a decent fooseballer and a fan of baseball. He introduced me to alot of music in the 70's and he was, I recall, a big fan( back in the day) of the Steve Miller Band. I last saw Jim a couple years ago at Mr. D's one Friday night. He greeted me with a smile and an welcoming handshake that old friend know is deeper than the current moment. I will miss Jim for the kind soul he was. I am sorry he is gone so soon...
