I was hired at Chun King in 1956, right after graduating from UMD, and continued until the sale to RJR Foods. Chun King was growing so fast that there were unlimited opportunities for personal growth. I started as a trainee in Purchasing, later became Director of Purchasing, Director of Manufacturing, and also ran the two companies that Jeno acquired to expand Chun King. This led to General Management opportunities in other companies that would not have happened without the experience I gained working for Jeno. I have always been grateful to him for all he did for my career. May God rest his soul. ----Tom Dillon

As a former employee of the Chun King Corporation, I want to offer my condolences to Jeno's family. He was a most unique individual and I am glad to have worked for his company in the R&D Department. My happiest memories at a job were there at Chun King. I think there was only one Jeno and there will not be another like him. Gerrie Komula DeDakis

For many years, Jeno's Inc. was THE industry in Duluth, MN. Jeno's provided many jobs for many people who otherwise would not have had employment. I was one of those individuals, in my early years, who was given that opportunity. I was lucky enough to know both Jeno and Lois, and they were a delightful couple, committed to one another and their community. May God Bless them both. Shelley

I am stunned at this loss, Duluth has lost two of their finest in a such a short period of time. The timing of his death shows us where Jenos' heart truly belonged, with his wife. I used to clean his office as a kid, I always felt special to be in his office and have followed his accomplishments after I left the Duluth area. Rest in Peace, you are a treasure and will always be remembered in the history of a great city.
