Student protest advocates Keep A Breast braclets
Students at SHS may have noticed several other students, most of whom were girls, wearing homemade shirts on Monday, October 1. On the shirts were the words “Keep a Breast, Keep a Bracelet.” Some girls even wore a sign with the words “censored” around their chests.
Problems litter Wisconsin Point
Despite being a natural landmark of great beauty, Superior’s Wisconsin Point has several critical problems. The park, a 203 acre peninsula, is tarnished by bad road conditions, litter along the beach, and car burglaries.
Cooper celebrates 40 years
Cooper Elementary School, established in 1970, turned 40 years old this year. To celebrate the anniversary, a program was held at the elementary school on Tuesday, October 26, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
