The review: This adaptation not only affirms the universality of human experience, it’s a compelling production in its own right.
“The Children’s Hour” tolled Thursday night as the final production to be staged at the Duluth Play Ground. Lillian Hellman’s play would seem an obvious choice as a WIT (Women in Theatre) Production, since it offers actresses of three generations weighty roles to play. But what this talented cast discovered is that what was once cutting-edge drama has aged into a rather creaky melodrama.
What: “Tuesdays with Morrie,” by Jeffrey Hatcher and Mitch Albom

When: 7:30 p.m. tonight and Saturday, and January 24-26.
Tickets: $15 general admission, available at the door or at duluthplayground.org.
