STATE TRACK AND FIELD MEET: Esko’s Marisa Shady effectively fired a cannon shot across the bow of the Benson/Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg 1,600-meter relay team when she made up at least 20 yards on the anchor leg and leaned across the finish line to win by five-hundredths of a second Friday at Hamline University.
A rural Esko woman involved in a fatal crash was charged Wednesday in State District Court in Carlton County with one count of criminal vehicular homicide and one count of criminal vehicular operation.
