Nett Lake teens honored for leadership project
Four Nett Lake girls were recognized for their leadership skills by the Minnesota Indigenous Youth Freedom Project sponsored by the University of Minnesota Duluth. Tyla Adams, Adrianna Day, Kenda Benner and Larissa Drift were honored during a banquet held at the Inn on Lake Superior in Duluth in April for their participation in the program. The program focused on leadership skill building, community awareness and public speaking, with a main goal of completing a community project.
