  • Barbara Gardner of Port Wing/Herbster writes “When I saw this picturesque view while driving with my husband along Settlement Road near Cornucopia on Wednesday, Oct. 3, it reminded me of my dad who told me years ago that ‘You don’t have to go anywhere to look at colors. All you have to do is look out the window.’ At the time we lived north of Baldwin, Wis., by Pine Lake, across the small lake was a beautiful fall view of living colors. I don’t know who owns this property and the lake view isn’t the same but the colors transcend date and time.”
