Duluth's First Witness Child Abuse Resource Center
Beth Olson is executive director of First Witness Child Abuse Resource Center, a place where children can safely give voice to atrocities they've endured and where teams of professionals can gather the children's words as evidence, sometimes for trial. The center and its interviewing are under scrutiny. "There's a fear of kids being coached or led. That's why we have protocols, to prevent that from happening," said Olson, photographed here in the center's playroom. (Bob King / rking@duluthnews.com)
