LINDA MARIE (NELIMARK, MOHR) SIMPSON

Linda Marie (Nelimark, Mohr) Simpson, 60, of Alexander, N.D., died Wednesday March 6, 2013.

She was born in Hibbing, Minn., the daughter of John and Martha Nelimark.

She graduated from Hibbing High School in 1971. In 2005, Linda found the love of her life, Michael Simpson, and later married him in 2009. Michael showed Linda the United States and renewed her energy and zeal for life.

Linda was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She was dedicated to her family and friends and she would give the shirt off her back to anyone. The most important thing in her life was that her friends and family were safe, happy, and healthy.

Everyone who knew her will miss her zest for life. She loved to entertain people with lavish meals, wonderful décor and lots of laughs. The amazing smells from her kitchen would lure everyone in, and the comfort in her home would keep them there. When she wasn't receiving awards for wife, mother, and friend of the year, she basked in being outdoors, traveling, barbequing, boating on the river, golfing, watching movies, and living life to the fullest. She loved talking with friends and family, catching up on the phone if she couldn't see them in person. Phone conversations with Linda would have more value than anything on television.

She was survived by her husband, Michael Simpson; son, Henry Mohr and his wife Angela, sister, Claudia and her husband Arthur Peterson; numerous nieces and nephews and her puppy, Fred.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: 1:30 p.m. Thursday March 14, in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church 2730 E 31st St, Minneapolis. Friends and relatives can sign the online guest registry at www.fulkersons.com
