Patricia Carlson Brosdal, died March 5, 2013 in the memory care unit at Wellstead in Rogers, Minn.
She was born in 1931 in Duluth, to Frances and Axel Carlson.
They lived in Culver, Minn., until 1944 when they moved to Hibbing. Patricia graduated from Hibbing High School and then went to Bemidji State College. After graduating with a teaching degree, she moved to Duluth where she was an Arthur Murray dance instructor for several years. Patricia taught school in Duluth for a few years before moving to Milwaukee, Wis., where she taught school until her retirement. She then moved to Muskego, Wis., until 2010 when she came back to Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Patricia is survived by her sisters, Frances (Wayne) Dunlap of Port Lavaca, Texas and Laura (Howard) Ahcan of Grand Rapids, Minn.; her brother, Rodney Carlson of Coon Rapids, Minn.
Internment will be at a later date in Hibbing, Minn.
