DELORES BLOOM
Delores M. "Do" "Ma Bloom" Bloom, 86, of Duluth, passed away Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, in Solvay Hospice House with her family by her side.
Do was born in Duluth Nov. 25, 1926, to Carl and Freida (Carlson) Peterson. She was a member of Homesteaders, Lakewood American Legion Auxiliary, Rice Lake 55 Club and Nu-Agers. Do always wore a guardian angel pin on the left side of her collar. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and touched many lives throughout the years. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Axel; son David; parents Carl and Freida; brothers Don and George; and sisters Barb and Cookie.
Delores is survived by her sons, John (Judie), Donny (Jane) and Mike (Andie), all of Duluth; daughters Sue (Buzz) Crandell of Minneapolis, Debbie (Kenny) Natysin of Minneapolis, and Carol (John) Haburt of Duluth; sisters Joyce Smith and Judy Gilbertson, both of Duluth; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
VISITATION: 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, and 10 until the 11 a.m. memorial service Friday, Feb. 22, all at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave., Duluth.
