ROSE OBRADOVICH

Rose Obradovich, 84, longtime Coleraine resident, died on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 in the Garden Court Chateau, Grand Rapids.

She was born Jan. 21, 1929 in Bovey, she was the daughter of George and Mildred (Colarich) Obradovich.

Rose grew up in Bovey, was a Greenway High School graduate, and a resident of Coleraine since 1946. She was a member of St. Basil’s Serbian Orthodox Church, the Bovey Serbian Sisters, and had been a bookkeeper for Greenway School District No. 316.

Her parents, George and Mildred Obradovich; two sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Nancy O'Loughlin of rural Bovey: four nieces Bonnie VanEyll of Albertville, Minn., Barb Mehlhoff of Langdon, N.D., Ronnie Bowstring of Grand Rapids, Lynne Quido of Tampa, Fla., and a nephew, Gary Gustafson of St. Cloud, Minn.

GATHERING OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013 in the Peterson Funeral Chapel of Coleraine. Interment will be at the Lakeview Cemetery at a later date. To leave an on-line condolence, please go to petersonfuneralchapelofcoleraine.com.
