Lois McConnell Marshall, 89, of Duluth, died Sunday, Jan.
Lois McConnell Marshall, 89, of Duluth, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013 at St. Luke’s Hospital.
She was born Dec. 21, 1923 in Merrill, Wis., to Irvin and Genevieve Hanson.
Lois was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during World War II.
She loved to travel after retiring from Nopeming. Lois raised her family with wisdom and a great sense of humor. She will be missed by many whose lives she touched.
Lois was preceded in death by her husbands, Paul McConnell and John “Jack” Marshall.
She is survived by her children, Michael (Jeri), Patrick (Victoria), James (Susan), Mary Eye, Timothy (LeeAnn), Kevin (Shirley), Jean (David) Hanson, Katherine (Leo) Donahue and Paul; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Dr. Susan Kamper and the staff of River Hill Assisted Living for the many years of excellent care given to Lois.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Cremation Society of Minnesota, 624-5200.
