Evelyn H. Gamelgaard, 92, of Brooklyn Park, passed away Jan. 21, 2013.

She was born Aug. 18, 1920,

Preceded in death by husband, Everett "Jim" Gamelgaard; grandson, Eric Nelson; parents, Richard Charles and Emma Holetz; brothers, Richard (Boy) and George Holetz; and sister, Olga Peterson.

Survived by children and grandchildren, Emmy (Bob) Mortensen (Paul Kaiser), Robert (Vickie) Nelson (Kevin Dietsch, Craig (Jenny) Dietsch and Valerie Nelson), Barbara Lockman (Shawn (Robert) Klahr, John Lockman, and Nicholas Lockman ), Martha (Jim) Docken (James Docken Jr., Jennifer (Jake) Linder, Julie Docken, and Janelle Docken); 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Arlene (Ed) Leese; brother, Richard (Ruthann) Holetz; and numerous nieces and nephews.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: 4 p.m. Saturday in Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center, with visitation one hour prior to service. Evans-Nordby 763-533-3000
