LAWRENCE "LARRY" LESSARD

Lawrence "Larry" Lessard, 69, died Jan. 8, 2013 in Largo, Fla., after a long and frustrating battle with cancer and heart problems caused by chemotherapy.

He and his loving wife, Barb, shared many fun and wonderful experiences in the 28 years of their marriage. Another enjoyment was sharing time with his grandchildren at his house in Grand Rapids, Minn., and then later in Duluth. The last 11 years he and Barb spent their winters in Largo, Fla., where Larry enjoyed sitting in the sun, playing poker with the guys and the many cruises that they were able to go on.

In addition to his wife, Barb, he is survived by his daughter Lisa (Tim) Harold; his son Larry John Lessard; sister JoAnn (Dave) Florek; brothers Ray (Lil), Ron (Patty Tushie) and Norman (Laura); sisters-in- law Joanne Bondy and Jan Malmquist.

PRIVATE SERVICES: will be held and he would like friends and relatives to perform random acts of kindness.
