Robert William Roepstorff died at home Dec. 27, 2012.
Bob was born in Chicago, Ill., Oct. 18, 1926. He served in the United States Army Constabulary in Germany and retired from the U.S. Army Reserve as a Lt. Colonel. Bob graduated from Valparaiso University. He was employed by the General Motors Acceptance Corporation for 36 years and retired as the manager of Duluth in 1987.
Bob is survived by his wife of 61 years, Joan; daughters Lisa J. (Arthur) Baria of Arcadia, Ind., and Melissa J. (William) Bonheyo of Plymouth, Minn.; five grandsons, Thaddeus, Alexis and Nicolas Baria, and Zachary and Drew Bonheyo; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial may be made to the American Heart Association.
A family memorial service will be held at Bass Lake Cemetery in Bass Lake, Ind., at a later date.
