Muriel and loved ones, I have fond memories of working with John in Special Education during the 1990-91 school year when I returned to the Duluth Public Schools as a fellow Supervisor in Special Services. John was a helpful and welcoming colleague whose calm steadiness was a valuable trait in a department that could often be very stressful. He was a positive person to work with and willingly shared his experience with me as a new Supervisor. Away from work he was a fun-loving person who welcomed us into your home and joined colleagues and friends at the Anchor Bar for great times.
