Larry T. Fore, 62, passed away peacefully at his home with his family holding his hands on Dec. 9, 2012, after battling kidney cancer.

Larry T. Fore, 62, passed away peacefully at his home with his family holding his hands on Dec. 9, 2012, after battling kidney cancer.

Larry was born in Kansas City, MO on May 4, 1950.

Larry spent most of his professional life working in healthcare finance. After graduating from the University of Minnesota, Duluth, he began working at Miller-Dwan Hospital in Duluth in 1974. He continued to work up until July 2012.

He enjoyed fishing with his buddy Dale, and really enjoyed golf. Larry was an Eagle Scout and later was a Cub Scout leader for his two boys, as well as being their baseball, basketball and soccer coach.

Larry is preceded in death by his father Joe.

He is survived by his wife, Kay, of 35 years; sons Chris and David, both of Kansas City; his mother Joan of Leawood, Kansas; and his brother John (Debbie) of North Carolina.

VISITATION: 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 in North Oak Christian Church, 9900 North Oak Trafficway, Kansas City, MO with a service to follow from 3-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the University of Kansas Oncology Department, DaVita Dialysis Center in Liberty, Missouri, or Kendallwood Hospice.
