Jayne Carole Glaspie, 63, of Duluth went home to be with Our Heavenly Father, and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Oct. 4, 2012.
Jayne was born Nov. 19, 1948 in Hampton Court, Surrey, England. The only child of Charles and Edith (Mickey) Snelling, Jayne moved to Duluth in 1981.
On a trip home to the UK in 1989, Jayne and her son Marlon observed a group of people “Marching for Jesus” in the streets of Cheddar, England. The following year she organized the first March For Jesus in the United States here in Duluth. Jayne attended Great Lakes Gospel Church in Lakeside. She loved to worship, loved to serve, and loved to bake. Her “Lady Jayne’s Teas” were known throughout Duluth.

I worked with your mother for several years at United Healthcare. We were actually 'cube' roomies and sat next to each other. She was a very nice person and I so enjoyed having her beside me and chatting when we had a chance. I am so sorry for your loss. Terri A. AikenSuperior, WI 10/14/2012 7:37 AM
