Brian B. Brackett, 76, Duluth died Sept. 25, 2012 at home with his family.

Brian B. Brackett, 76, Duluth died Sept. 25, 2012 at home with his family.

He was born in Pence, Wis., on April 5, 1936 to John and Alice Brackett.

Brian attended Hermantown High School. He later joined the army and served in Korea and Germany. He was also a member of the Army Marksmanship Team. He worked as an electrician at Benson Electric and Reiss Coal Dock in Duluth. Brian’s hobbies included hunting, fishing, camping and trapping. He also coached youth hockey. He was a member of Duluth Gospel Tabernacle.

Brian is survived by his children Kathy Miner, Superior, Mark (Robin) Tyson, Winnemucca, Nev., Lyle (Mary) Tyson, Reno, Nev., Tammy (Ron) Horner, El Dorado, Calif., Lisa (Kevin) Johnson, South Range, Wis., former wife Mary Miner, Gordon, Wis.; 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; siblings Billy Brackett, Duluth, Gene (Kathy) Brackett, Floodwood, Minn., Janice (Kenneth) Woodard, Springfield, Ill., Bonnie White, Grand Prairie Texas, Judy Brackett, Duluth, Kay (Charlie) Cavin, Frankston, Texas, Dennis (Joyce) Brackett, Yakima, Wash., and Denise (Jack) Findlay, Malakof, Texas.

VISITATION: 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Funeral Service Saturday, in Duluth Gospel Tabernacle. Arrangements by Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral Home.
