DEBORAH RUTH(FERGUSON) WYNN

Deborah R. (Ferguson) Wynn, 58, died of cancer on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, in St. Mary's Hospital in San Francisco, Calif.

She was born in Duluth Dec. 11, 1953, to Ruth and Donald Ferguson and grew up in Two Harbors.

Deborah attended the Simmin Sethna School of Fashion Design in San Francisco and worked for many years as a pattern maker and design specialist in the apparel industry. She had extensive experience in men's and women's wear, bridal wear, leather goods, as well as other apparel and accessories.

Deborah had recently decided on a career change and was attending community college for a degree in medical coding.

She loved all things that appealed to her senses; an eclectic array of music, live theatre, books, good food, the fragrance of flowers, bright colors, the feel of fine cloth in her hands, a dip in a hot spring, and the tranquility of being out in the woods.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Ferguson.

Deborah is survived by her mother, Ruth Ferguson, of Two Harbors; sister Karen of Arvada, Colo.; brothers Brennan of Missoula, Mont., Stuart of Chelsea, Mich., and Duncan (Lin Merritt) of Crestview, Fla.; niece Jessica of Houston, Texas; and dear friends in San Francisco, New York City, and Two Harbors.

Deborah will be forever missed; she was a unique and irreplaceable part of our lives.

MEMORIAL GATHERING: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, in the basement of the United Church in Two Harbors. There will be a formal remembrance at 11:30 a.m. with a luncheon to follow.
