Beverly A Carleton of Hoyt Lakes went to our lord on Aug. 27.
She was born April 27, 1930 in Superior Wis., to Arthur and Gladys (Blair) Nelson.
She graduated from Duluth Cathedral High and Duluth Jr. College. She was united in marriage to Robert Pat Carleton on Feb. 5, 1950 in Duluth. She worked as a nurse at St. Mary's Hospital and Miller Dwan Hospital in Duluth. In 1954 she moved to Hoyt Lakes. She was a Brownie Leader and Catechism teacher at Queen of Peace Church, a member of the Aurora American Legion, Duluth Moose Lodge 170, and United Steel Workers 4108.
She retired from LTV and enjoyed working with the elderly at the Aurora Nursing Home putting on luncheons for the residents.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Pat; her dear friend and fiancée Tero Kammunen; father Arthur Nelson; step-father Thomas Dee; mother Gladys Dee; sons Robert Jr and William Thomas; brother Richard Nelson; a dear Aunt Adeline Taylor; cousin Patricia Stadler and grandparents Joseph and Bertha Blair and Otto and Inga Harju.
She is survived by her daughter Marie Carleton White (Robert) and grand-daughter Melonie White of Klamath Falls, Oregon; and son William Carleton and grandchildren Thomas and Elyse Carleton of Rochester, Minn.
