Astrid "Ozzie" Johnson, 94, passed away May 1, 2012 surrounded by loved ones.
Astrid "Ozzie" Johnson, 94, passed away May 1, 2012 surrounded by loved ones.
Ozzie worked for many years as a teacher's aide for the hearing impaired at Lincoln Elementary in Duluth. She was also an active member of The Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity in the West End.
Preceded in death by husband Arthur; brother Osborne; sister Diane.
Survived by sons Leroy (Diane) and Jeff (Cheryl); daughter Carol (Jack) Melby; grandchildren Perry, Lorrie, Jon, Kirsten, Deborah and Daniel and great-grandchildren. Ozzie was also dearly loved by extended family and many friends.
SERVICE: was held on May 4, in Eagan, Minn. Interment will be at Park Hill Cemetery in Duluth on Monday, May 7, at 12 Noon. Arrangements by J.S. Klecatsky & Sons 651-454-9488.
