Alice Marie (Becker) Carson, 79, died May 1, 2012 at Chris Jensen Health & Rehabilitation Center of natural causes.
She was born March 23, 1933 in Almena Township, Wis., the oldest of 10 children of William Henry Becker and Goldie Clara Ries Becker.
Alice wanted to be remembered as kind and fair to other people. She will be remembered and held dear by her daughters as a warm and loving mother. She enjoyed a lot of music during her life with family, friends and classmates, including accompanying the Children's Choir of United Church of Two Harbors.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Alice is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Ray; daughters Mary Alice Robison of Jacksonville, Fla., Catherine McCarty of Duluth, and Patricia (Robert) Scalzo of Rochester, Minn.; grandchildren Rachel and Clara Robison of Jacksonville, Fla., Sean McCarty of Duluth, and Samuel Scalzo of Rochester, Minn.; seven of her siblings; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
SERVICES: will not be held per Alice's request. If desired, memorials may be made in Alice's name to the Alice M. Carson music memorial at United Church of Two Harbors. Arrangements are being handled by the Cremation Society of Minnesota.

I met Alice at CJ.In the brief time I had known her,she touched my heart.I could tell what a loving and caring person she was.My wife is here.Alice and I would talk about Miss Elizibeth,(Pam worked for her also.)Iwill miss our little talks,and laughs.I believe when someone goes to heaven,it brings a little heaven home.My prayers and thoughts are with all of you.I am glad Igot to know her.
