Alice Hugdahl Olson, 85, of Superior passed away suddenly from a massive stroke on Monday, April 30, 2012 in Essentia-St.

Alice Hugdahl Olson, 85, of Superior passed away suddenly from a massive stroke on Monday, April 30, 2012 in Essentia-St. Mary's.

Alice was born Sept. 13, 1926 in Superior to Olaf and Bertha Hugdahl.

Alice married the love of her life, Raymond E. Olson on July 16, 1949, and had celebrated 62 years of marriage in 2011.

Alice was an active member of Holy Assumption Church in Superior, and also enjoyed volunteering for R.S.V.P. Alice was a member of the ladies bowling league whose team took first place this year. Alice had worked as an usher at the Palace Theater before her marriage to Raymond.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents; a son Eugene in 1976; her husband Raymond in August of 2011 and a brother Jim Hugdahl, and other relatives and her Cat, Boots.

Alice is survived by two sons Kenneth (Mary Jane) Olson and Duane (Janeice Jacobson) both of Superior; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; cousin; nieces and nephews and a special Aunt Louise that she grew up with.

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: 11 a.m. Thursday in Holy Assumption Catholic Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
