A few years ago I submitted a photo and story about my hippo tattoo, and you were kind enough to publish them. My collection of ink has continued to flourish, and here is my latest addition, an old-style mermaid created on the back of my right calf by Andy Vidovic, right here in Hibbing. I call her “Minnie” (the mermaid) after an old song I learned in college many years ago.
