Three students from St. John's School in Duluth received the President's Education Award for Academic Excellence from President Obama; (from left) Megan Sailstad, Rose Nyman and Karl Habig. The award is the highest educational award sixth-grade students can achieve. The children have known each other since kindergarten. Parents are Michelle and Tim Sailstad, Claudia Bjork and Rex Nyman, and Kim and Alec Habig, all of Duluth.
