Trail builder Elias Featherly of Copper Harbor, Mich., tests out a berm along the new mountain bike flow trail under construction at Spirit Mountain in Duluth on Thursday. Spirit Mountain, the International Mountain Bicycling Association and local biking club Cyclists of Gitchee Gumee Shores are teaming up to build the trail. Eventually, riders will be able to descend the trail, then catch a ride back up the hill on a chair lift.
