Dennis Hale


Dennis Hale was the sole survivor of the 1966 sinking of the Daniel J. Morrell. In 2002 he was the keynote speaker for the Gales of November conference. Here, he holds the life jacket that was cut off of him when he was rescued after 38 hours in a life raft. (2002 file / News Tribune)
