Marshall School valedictorian Chrisana Pokorny used a simple chemistry demonstration during her address at Sunday’s commencement to illustrate one of the things she learned in school. Starting with a beaker of clear liquid — which, she said, people might see as half full or half empty — she poured it into a second beaker to create a dark liquid.
