On the witness stand Wednesday in the trial accusing him of third-degree sexual assault, Dr. Javier De La Garza said he was “shocked” by the romantic advances his female patient made on her father’s boat. “I was getting up and she kind of dived at me and gave me a kiss — kind of on the side of my lips,” De La Garza said.
