Dear Jess, Steph and Ashlie, I am so very sorry for your loss. I worked with your mom at the hospital years ago and after a move to Washington DC I was able to reconnect with her on Facebook. She was always VERY proud of her girls and I enjoyed feeling like I watched you grow up through her eyes. I know she loved you deeply and wanted the best for you. I remember your mom being a very strong woman and at times really funny... I enjoyed her sense of humor. You are lucky to have such a great mom who will be missed by many.

Dear Jess, Steph and Ashlie, I am so very sorry for your loss. I will always remember how kind your mother was to me, from the time I was a young child playing at your house, through high school and into my adult years. She was always so supportive and encouraging of my interest in theater and was always the first one to tell me what a great job I did in whatever show I was working on at that moment. She was a very special person and will be missed by all that knew her. Love and prayers to your family. Kate "Brissett" Cadotte

Your mom/grandma stood next to me in the bell choir for several years. She was such a joy! She brought us cookies, little gifts, and her wonderful smile. We'd lose our place in our bell music and help each other out with what we called a "bell nudge". Loved her hugs and the little notes she would send via snail mail and Facebook. When the regular choir would sing I'd look out into the congregation and see her smiling, kind face. She spoke so lovingly of you girls and found grandchildren to be a joy. She never complained about her health, but only would tell you what was up if you asked a specific question. She was gentle, sincere, with a beautiful soul. Everyone at LPC will miss her.

Dear Ashlie so sorry to hear about your Mom she was a real nice person and I remember the first day you came to work at the store and she just had to come in and take your picture at your first job. I know it is hard losing a parent but they do stay with you in spirit. If there is anything I can do let me know. From Don Doane

Jessica and sisters... I don't know what to say to ease your pain. You could tell she loved being a mom and I'm sure she was enjoying her grandchildren. It's been a few years since I've seen you or your mom, but I will always remember her smiling, encouraging others and just a great person. Sending you hugs. Cheryl (Mannelin - Sarah's mom) Cadwell

I loved my cousin Carolyn. From the time we were children I was in awe of her. She was loving and courageous. She was a benchmark on how to be a mom, and on how to live a faith based life. As adults we lived in distant states but that never mattered. We were life long pen pals and Facebook helped in recent years to cover the miles between Duluth and Dallas, TX. Sending love to her daughters and their families. From Les Swanson.
