Bud, Jimi called me from China last night...with a broken heart....to share with me the news of Heather's passing. She was like a mom to him and he has many fond memories of the times you all spent together. He wishes he was not so far away so that he could be with you and pay his last respects to someone he dearly loved. I know that you will be very lonely without Heather as the two of you were so cute together. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Susan Sides

Pam & Steve Syring, Heather was a dear friend of ours for many many years. Her humor, her love for life her character, her beauty her love of animals are just some of the things that made her such a special loving person. I loved Heather dearly, I have so many fond memories of my dear friend. Dancing, just shooting the bull, visiting the farm, hanging at her house and watching that green thumb of hers work it's magic on her many many plants. Heather will be deeply missed by us all she was such a special giving loving geniune great person. God bless you Heather we love you.

Dear Friends, Just a quick note. Last week, as daughter Nicole and I laughed and cried (and hugged) our way through the penning of my Sweetie's obituary, I inexplicably neglected to mention myself as a part of the family she left behind. I'm baffled and more than a little embarassed. Come this March 13th twenty four years will have passed since our first date...lunch at Tony Pagonis' Coney Island. We chuckled about that day forever, And I always will. Our heartfelt thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers....we hope to see you Friday if you can be there. May the Lord bless and keep you all. My dear, sweet, precious Heather. We were best friends for so many years through high school, our trip to Kansas, then I came back and you continued onto California. When you returned to Duluth, our friendship continued on as if we had never been apart. You were always one of the people that took me for who I was. We understood each other and loved each other as sisters. I will miss your sweet, gentle ways of talking with me about my problems and helping me through difficult times in my life. Over these last years, I am so sorry that we lost touch. I kept telling myself to try and reach you but just didn't get around to doing it. I truly, deeply regret that now. I will never see that beautiful smile or hear those kind words you always had for me. I love you, sister, and you will always be in my heart. I hope you know how much you meant to me. I will regret not being in touch over these last years for the rest of my life, but we will meet up again. I know that for a fact and then we can continue where we should be. Heather and I were good friends on Daniels Rd. So sorry we didn't stay in touch. My thoughts are with all the children, parents, and friends. I will miss Heather and have very fond memories. Ted Rydberg

Rosella.....I remember Heather when we were both very very young and she lived at the Mink Ranch.....I would go and stay over night with her and I would see the mink hides drying out all over the house. The house smelled sweet and Heather was so special and pretty. We met riding the school bus together. Then I grew up and had my own family and rented and lived at the mink ranch for a good 2 years......my family and I loved it there and felt sad when it sold and we had to move. So sorry for the passing of Heather as it sounds like she grew into a very beautiful person and that didn't surprise me one bit. I hope your great memories of Heather helps to carry you thru this very difficult loss of her.....I am sending loving thoughts your way. Mary Jane VanDenHeuvel Silver Bay, MN
