Mike S Bettendorf IA I worked at Stewart's for several years through high school and as a young adult. Without Dick's patience, understanding and guidance I would not be the man I am today. One of the last times we talked I thanked him for all he had done for me realizing I could never pay him back. He just smiled and said I already had. I know he has touched many lives through out the years but I can honestly say he saved mine. Thank you Mr Stewart. Rest in peace.

We shared time at United Baptist Christian Church with Dick, and I happily shared a love of flowers and gardening with him. Though we have been out of touch, we will miss his buoyant spirit in the community. We are unable to attend the service for Dick, but we will pray that God will be honored at that event and that people attending will see His goodness. We pray, too, for God's comfort for Dick's daughters and families. Mark and Lori Steward
