At any other time of year, the Thursday Homegrown schedule would be a respectably sized festival all by itself. Seventeen acts (not counting the one-hit wonder Lake Superior Cacaphonic Choir) at five venues offer it all: from the metal of Malec to the crooning of Karmafist (okay, that's a stretch).
