Reader’s view: Inauguration celebrated lives of King and Lincoln

John Wilkes Booth, who shot and killed President Abraham Lincoln, once reportedly said his worst nightmare was an African-American becoming president of the United States. Well, that nightmare came true! You could now say John Wilkes Booth has been defeated twice.
